BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and abandoned Edith Drive located northwest of Charleston Square, northeast of Asherton Lane, more particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference: Part of Edith Drive, a 40 foot wide unopened right-of-way. To find the true point of beginning of said part of street, start on the northeast line of Asherton Lane some 147 feet northwest of the intersection of the northeast line of Asherton Lane with the northwest line of Charleston Square, said point being the southeast corner of lot 14, Ashwood Subdivision, Phase I, as shown by plat of record in plat book 39, page 340, R.O.H.C., and the southwest corner of lot 39, Ashwood Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 40, page 117, R.O.H.C., thence northeast 397.09 feet with the line dividing said subdivisions to the northeast corner of lot 16, said Ashwood Subdivision, Phase I, the true point of beginning, thence northwest 400 feet with the northeast line of lots 17 and 18, said Phase I, to the most northern corner of said lot 18, said point being in the southeast line of Tract 13, Varnell Farms, as shown by plat of record in plat book 12, page 17, R.O.H.C., thence northeast 40 feet with the southeast line of said Tract 13 to the southwest corner of lot 12, Noll's Acres, as shown by plat of record in plat book 14, page 44, R.O.H.C., thence southeast 437.6 feet with the southwest line of lots 12 and 11, said Noll's Acres, to the southeast corner of said lot 11, thence southwest 20 feet with the southward extension of the southeast line of said lot 11 to the centerline of Edith Drive, thence northwest 17.6 feet with the centerline of Edith Drive, thence at a right angle southwest 20 feet to a point in the northeast line of lot 14, said Noll's Acres, said point being located in the northwest corner of lot 43, Ashwood Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 40, page 117, R.O.H.C., thence northwest 20 feet with the northeast line of said lot 14 and the southwest line of Edith Drive to the northeast corner of lot 16, said Ashwood Subdivision, Phase I, the true point of beginning.
